The venue
The workshop will be held in the Catapult@Rochester. The Catapult is located along the train line from Changi International Airport. It has an adjoining hotel with several other options close by. The venue is also close to the Centre for Quantum Technologies and other research centres.
Academic visits
The venue is 2.5 km from the Centre for Quantum Technologies, and 1.2 km from A*STAR laboratories. The Nanyang Technological University is 16 km away. Organised visits with transportation to these R&D labs can be arranged for participants to visit sites such as the National Quantum-Safe Network, the Singapore Optical Ground Station, and the National Quantum Computing Hub.

Climate
Singapore has a tropical climate. In April, temperature typically ranges between 26C and 32C.
There is moderate rainfall as April is in between two monsoon seasons.
Recreation
Visitors will have ample opportunity for recreation activities. Within a short walk of the venue, for example the Singapore Rail Corridor is an ex-railway line converted into a leafy park. It is open for walking, running and cycling 24 hours each day. Many other attractions are rapidly accessible by public transport.

Travel around Singapore
The Catapult is conveniently located next to the Buona Vista MRT (train) station. Participants arriving at Singapore Changi International Airport may take the train directly to Buona Vista MRT (with 1 change at the Tanah Merah Station). The journey takes approximately 1 hour. See the Google map figure below for the train route. Alternatively taxi or ride-hailing services will take about 45 minutes.
All Singapore buses and trains accept contactless bank cards associated with Visa or Mastercard for payment. Visitors may also to purchase the Singapore Tourist Pass for unlimited travel for up to three days. These passes are available at train stations or convenience stores in Changi Airport.
